Installation

Use our installation script, specify a name for your node and wait for the installation to complete.

wget -q -O union.sh https://api.nodes.guru/union.sh && sudo chmod +x union.sh && ./union.sh && source $HOME/.bash_profile

Create a wallet, don’t forget to save the mnemonic:

uniond keys add wallet --home $HOME/.union

If you already have a wallet, you can recover with:

uniond keys add wallet --recover --home $HOME/.union

Request tokens at the faucet. After full synchronization, check the balance, if everything is okay, proceed to create a validator.

uniond q bank balances $(uniond keys show wallet -a --home $HOME/.union) --node https://rpc-1.testnet.union.nodes.guru:443

You can also check your balance in explorer.

Create a Proof of Possession:

export PRIV_KEY=$(jq -r '.priv_key.value' ~/.union/config/priv_validator_key.json)export POSSESSION_PROOF=$(uniond prove-possession "$PRIV_KEY")

Create a validator(You can add additional information about your validator in the file $HOME/.union/validator.json):

uniond union-staking create-union-validator $HOME/.union/validator.json $POSSESSION_PROOF \  --from wallet \  --chain-id union-testnet-8 --home $HOME/.union -y

View logs

sudo journalctl -u uniond -f

Restart node:

sudo systemctl restart uniond

Find out if the node is synchronized, if the result is false – it means the node is synchronized

curl -s localhost:26657/status | jq .result.sync_info.catching_up

Find out your valoper address:

uniond keys show wallet --bech val -a --home $HOME/.union

Delegate tokens (to increase your stake delegate to your valoper address):

uniond tx staking delegate YOUR_VALOPER_ADDRESS 1000000muno --from wallet --chain-id union-testnet-8 --gas="500" --gas-prices="500muno" --home $HOME/.union

Remove node:

sudo systemctl stop uniondsudo systemctl disable uniondsudo rm -rf $(which uniond) $HOME/.union
