The IOTA Foundation is proposing to rebase IOTA’s Layer 1 to introduce a protocol with full decentralization, L1 programmability with MoveVM and EVM support, 50k+ TPS scalability, and $IOTA staking. This upgrade offers a faster path to a new mainnet than current IOTA 2.0 plans.
