Install

Use our script for a quick installation:

wget -q -O andromeda.sh https://api.nodes.guru/andromeda.sh && chmod +x andromeda.sh && /bin/bash andromeda.sh

Set a name for your node and wait for the installation to complete. After that execute the following command:

source $HOME/.bash_profile

Create a wallet, don’t forget to save the mnemonic.

andromedad keys add wallet

Get tokens in the discord, #faucet-pub section.
After full synchronization, check the balance, if everything is okay go to the next step.

andromedad q bank balances YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS

Create a validator:
Don’t change anything if you don’t understand what you’re doing.

andromedad tx staking create-validator \
--moniker="$VALIDATOR" \
--amount=1000000uandr \
--fees 300uandr \
--pubkey=$(andromedad tendermint show-validator) \
--chain-id=$CHAIN_ID \

Additional

You can check the node logs with the command:

journalctl -u andromedad -f -o cat

Restart node:

systemctl restart andromedad

Check your node status:

curl localhost:26657/status

Check node synchronization, if results false – node is synchronized

Get your valoper address:

andromedad keys show wallet --bech val -a

Bond more tokens (if you want increase your validator stake you should bond more to your valoper address):

andromedad tx staking delegate YOUR_VALOPER_ADDRESS 1000000uandr --from wallet --chain-id $CHAIN_ID --fees 5000uandr

Active validators list:

Remove node:

systemctl stop andromedad
systemctl disable andromedad
rm -rf ~/andromeda ~/.andromedad /etc/systemd/system/andromedad.service
