Kwil is the first decentralized, community owned SQL database solution for building advanced dApps and protocols. KwilDB simplifies the decentralized development process for existing developers who, by and large, have extensive experience building databases using SQL. In addition to facilitating highly scalable decentralized data storage and querying, KwilDB enables dApps to seamlessly query data from other applications, enabling a high level of composablity. Using Kwil funding pools, the cost of running a decentralized database can be distributed amongst community members at a comparable price point and scalability to existing Web2 database solutions.
